The construction of the Vinalopó Hospital in Elche was a monumental project that not only improved the healthcare system in the area, but also left an indelible mark on the infrastructure of the municipality.

This hospital, an architectural and functional landmark, required meticulous planning and precise execution. Hierros Mora Antón had the privilege of contributing to the success of this emblematic work by supplying essential materials to Altamira Constructora, the construction company in charge of the foundations and structure.

A project of great magnitude

The Vinalopó Hospital, part of the Grupo IMED Hospitales, is equipped to provide high quality medical services to a large population. The building has a floor area of 45,000 m², making it one of the largest hospitals in the region. Its modern design and state-of-the-art facilities have made it a benchmark in the healthcare sector in the Valencian Community. However, achieving an infrastructure of this magnitude was no easy task.

Altamira, responsible for the execution, relied heavily on the quality of Hierros Mora Antón‘s products to ensure that the hospital’s foundation was solid and safe.

Quality corrugated steel and mesh

The corrugated steel supplied by Hierros Mora Antón provided the necessary strength to support the structural loads of the building. The mesh, on the other hand, contributed to the integrity of the concrete structures. The combination of these high-quality materials allowed the hospital’s foundation and structure to be robust, meeting the strict safety and quality standards required.
